Question about Canadian work experience

I began my full-time Canadian job on October 20, 2025, which means I’ll officially complete 12 months of eligible Canadian work experience on October 19, 2026. When I checked my Express Entry profile, though, it already indicates that I qualify for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). I’m wondering if this is because the profile only requires employment dates by month and year, rather than the exact day I started working. Leaving Canada While PR Application Is Under Security Screening — Can It Delay My File?

I have an Express Entry PR application currently in progress, and based on the updates I have received, it appears that my application may be going through comprehensive security screening. I am currently living in Canada, but I am considering relocating to another country for a job opportunity while waiting for my PR decision. Someone mentioned that because IRCC and CBSA share travel and exit information, leaving Canada during security screening could potentially move my application into a different queue and cause additional delays. Received "Portal Still Initiated" Email After Completing P2 – Is This Normal?

Hello, I'm hoping someone here has seen this before. I already completed the P2 step, and I can access the PR Confirmation Portal without any problems. My profile also shows that both my residential address and photo have been submitted. Despite that, I recently received the following message from IRCC saying my portal account is still in the "Initiated" stage and asking me to sign in and upload my information again.
