Question about Canadian work experience
ArcticDream441: IMO - I don’t think you can apply under CEC until you’ve actually completed the required 1 year of eligible Canadian work experience, even if your Express Entry profile already shows you as eligible. IRCC will verify your actual employment dates, so if your ITA comes before you complete the year, it’s safer to wait until you meet the requirement before applying.
Will Irregular Salary Payments Be an Issue - foriegn work experience ?
ArcticBear987: As long as your employment documents clearly confirm the required work experience and the salary deposits can be explained with supporting records, irregular payment patterns alone may not be a major issue, but be prepared to provide an explanation if IRCC asks.
Closed Work Permit (LMIA) & Restoration Processing Timelines – Recent Experiences?
CalmPath837: My closed work permit with a positive high-wage LMIA was approved in about 7 weeks from inside Canada, while my restoration application took just over 2 months.
AOR Received but No Further IRCC Updates Spousal Open Work Permit
NorthernLeaf498: IRCC timelines can vary widely; submitting an SOWP after AOR usually does not stop updates, but background checks and request timings differ by application.
Timelines on Recent India Visitor Visa
BrightPioneer181: I applied for my TRV with a Family Sponsorship AOR on July 2, received my PPR on July 29, and submitted my passport on August 1. Based on recent timelines, passport stamping is taking around 2–4 weeks, so traveling in early September still seems achievable.
